Hi guys this is my first year having fish. I have a 10 gallon tank 2 platys, a red wag and a sunset and a cremecical  molly. I asked for all males because i don't think i have a big enough tank for babies. I looked in my tank tonight and it looks like one of my fish is getting really fat and it is suppose to be a male but i think it might be a pregnant female and i am not ready to have a pregnant fish and don't know how to take care of them and what to do so please give me some info!!!!

Does the anal fin look like a fan (wide and spread out from the abdomen) or like a rod (close to the abdomen)?

If you have a female in with your males, she's most likely pregnant..

The good news is, if you have a place for the fry to hide for the first few weeks the majority should survive and if not, the larger fish will enjoy them as a snack

Another thing to consider, if you've only had your fish a few weeks and it is a female, she could have been pregnant when you brought her home.

Live-bearers need little encouragement to breed and will take every opportunity they get
