Is My Platy Just Bloated Or Does She Have Dropsy?

If she has dropsy, her scales will be sticking out, giving her a 'pinecone' appearance. Being a livebearer, she could be pregnant, of course.

Think a platy with dropsy will look much more rounded and usually very swollen belly with some pinconing (looks like scales sticking out).
 
Really would help if can post some decent/clear pics to help you. You could maybe ask someone to help take some pictures for you and upload on a photosharing website such as photobucket (its free).

Ok I think she has dropsy because her scales are sticking out but she can't be pregnant because she's not an adult yet
