for a while now ive been selling my green terrors fry to the LFS i sell them at about 1inch he gives me a single AUD dollar each ( $1 ) i usually have around 20 or so. but ive been told i should be getting around $4 AUD each. he sells them for $20 AUD im sorry this is a hard question but how much should i get, dose anyone else sell fry to the LFS?

I dont personally sell fry but going by the price he sells at you are getting ripped off. Maybe try keeping them a little longer(bigger) then hit him for atleast 4 aud

How long is he keeping them for before he puts them on sale? If its pretty much straight away (after a quarantine period) then you may well be getting a bad deal.
have you tried voicing your concerns with him?

It's rare to get a really good deal for fish at the LFS. The usual markup for fish is 300%. That means that what the LFS pays for them at wholesale, they then increase by 300% and that's the price you buy fish at. So if you hit them for a lot, they're not going to be any cheaper than the ones they are already buying and they are probably smaller than the ones they order in. Let them grow on to two or three inches and you can probably hit them for wholesale price then, which would be about $4. How big are the ones they sell? I think it's more a point of ripping off the customers than ripping off the seller.
