Morning guys. I've got an Eheim 2217 external filter. My fish seem to be struggling with the output flow. I've angled the spray bar up, but the flow is still strong. Its being used on a 125ltr tank. Any ideas?

cheers

Hi there , you could get a wood drill bit that is a bit bigger than the holes in your spray bar and drill the spray bar holes to make them bigger, The bigger holes will make the flow less powerful.

When I had the problem I angled the spray bar up against the glass whilst lowering the spraybar to 4 inches below surface. Result was a nice gentle flow bouncing off the glass at surface across the tank.

you could try extra foam or filter wool in the canister, it might slow it down

I thought mine was too powerful , I have now come to the conclusion that my guppies are just thrill seekers and dive into the flow for a wild water ride !!!!
