The seller recommended water condititioned with IAF.

You think it is okay to wean him slowly out of IAF prepared water?

I have a 4 gallon holding tank with prepared ketepang water, I can draw from it and add fresh water as I change my Mahchai's water. As the leaf looses its properties the water eventually becomes normal condition tap.

He built his firts bubbles nest, since moving in 2 days ago :D

OOo!
Good learning opertunity for me!
Now, what Iaf and ISF?

yah, sure it's all right, as long as it's not a drastic change all of a sudden. we don't always keep our fish in IAL either.

Yeah, I thought I might learn something.....but I'm confuzzled.
IAL: Is that a kind of treated water?

Thanks bkk_group.

Ethos, what we do is we put one or more Indian Almond Leaves into the water to treat it. The water turns into brown water. More accidic and lowe pH I think.
