Is It Normal Or Should I Be Concerned?

Should I be concerned about my cherry barbs, I've noticed that the gill area on both the males and females barbs are red. It's not as noticeable on the males as it is on my females. The red color is the same as the fins coloring. My tank stats are 0/0/5 water was 50% changed friday. Thank you

Are they showing any gasping or at water surface?

What test kit are you using, liquid based or dip strip tests?

Also, if you can, post a picture of this, that might help.

There's no gasping at the waters surface, I use api master test kit. I'll try and get a picture of the barbs but their pretty quick.
