Hello TFF people! :hi:

I have a question, โ€œIs it normal, for a Zebra Nerite snail to go out of the water?โ€ I have had this snail for over 2 weeks, and it has never done this before. Here is a picture of said snail.

The snail is not all the way about of the water, it is just making me worry! (Nervous fish Dad! :D)

Thank you for your time. :thanks:

Yes, nerite snails do go out of the water sometimes. Just make sure your lid is secure so he can't get out.

Thank you @FishFinatic77! I have read that, before, I was just checking, thanks! :)

P.S. my lid is secure, I just checked it. :)

I don't think its because they just want to.My zebra nerites only go when there is less algae.
do you have less algae in your tank?

I have a lot of algae, mostly on the back, and the sides of the tank. If you go to the TOTM contest, you can see my tank, and itโ€™s algae. :)
