That depends...
The hard part is probably to breed other cichlids living with the multi's.
They are the 'cuckoo' catfish.

When other, larger cichlids breed, multi's swoop in, eat the eggs and drop their own. The 'host' cichlid then broods them in it's mouth.

If you have a bunch of mature multi's and some other cichlids, they're rather straightforward to breed...
 
I have a group of 5 adults in a 75g tank with a breeding group of eureka red peacocks. At least half of the time the female cichlids release 2-3 baby catfish instead of peacock fry, and they spawn pretty often/regularly.
