Is He Going Blind?

One of my bettas, Mystery, appears to be going blind. I put a small bloodworm on a kabob today and stuk the kabob in the tank. This is like a weekly thing i do. So, he just kinda circles around it and ignored it. Then, he swam right into it and backed up and tred to get it like 4 times, then got it.
Is he going blind?
If so, what could have caused this?

I suppose it's possible, other animals can go blind. Mabey he's just getting old. That happens sometimes If he is though, I think you should not rearange the tank that he's in, so that he can learn where everything is, and not run into it anymore. I'm not an expert though, I'm just useing knowlege from my expirience with other pets. I'm a total animal lover, lol Good luck with him!

How old is he or she?

Depending on the age?!

He's only a year or two old, but, he was a rescue, and had bad water conditions

now that really is a mystery. i agree dont change the surroundings. he will get use to it eventually.

I've had some bettas that exhibited that behavior from time to time, then they'd be fine..... I hope he's fine!
