Is Golden Mystery Snail Good?

The guy in the store told me that golden mystery snail does not eat plants and is actually good for plants, because it generates some nutritions for the plants.

Is that true?

I got two in my tank and found out they did eat my plants. Can I still keep them?

hi i got two in my tank and iv had them with my plants and they havent touched the plants iv even orderd another 8 coss they are really nice.

Well, it seems they prefer one plants over the others. Maybe my tank is too clean, they could not find any thing to feed themselves except that plant.

all depends on the type u have check out www.applesnail.net for an id. Brigs do fine with plants, cannas destroy anything that is green as i found out and my vision 180 is now plastic plant only lol
