Hi all,
Someone told me recently that you should only give freshwater tropicals frozen food occasionally as a treat, otherwise it makes the water dirty. I give mine frozen food every night for tea. They have micropellets for breakfast. Last night, my tank water was cyrstal clear, after having done a water change and clean, but I was a bit annoyed that the water went a little cloudy after giving brine shrimp to the fish for tea. I also give them bloodworms, which don't seem to be as messy. My Black Ghost Knife fish only eats the frozen food (plus alage wafers), so I'm reluctant to cut it back to occasional use. How often should I be giving frozen food?

Frozen food won't make the water dirty unless the fish don't eat it all just like any other food.

Thanks Matty. How often do you feed frozen food to your fish?

P.S I just checked out your website. I'm VERY impressed with your fish and reefs.
