for a 2ftwx2fthx1.5ftw

would a 70w halide be sufficiant bearing in mind i want a clam of some sort for the bottom

any one (impatient i know)

it would be nice and bright but what type of clam do you want?
maybe 150W one would be much better. maybe add some t5s with the 70W?

dont care what clam the one with lowest light requirements really

yeah its just 150w is alot of leccy

well i got told that the more colourful ones need more light and should be put near the top. and the less colourful ones need a bit less light so can be near the bottom but as long as they have enough light they can be put anywhere. the easiest one to find in the uk is maxima. but they need the most light. you are in the uk right

yeah i am but my lfs can order different species

ok then the easiest one to keep is the derasa. it needs less light :good:

ahh good thought it was and my lfs has one in currently

are they usaly more or less than maxima (never really looked) as theyve marked it up as a maxima

oh ok cool thanks
