Though I don't normally post topics like this, I remember a few months back someone posting about the latest iPod accessory. The iPond, a 650 ml torture device for bettas , I thought a few of you might want to read about it.

O_O I CAN'T BELIEVE ANYONE MAKE SOME STUPID INVENTION LIKE THAT!!!!!!

Bettas have to at least be in 10 liters! but this is basically just a freakin drop of water! This should be banned! That's it! I'm joining Peta!

People will come up with anything so long as they think it will sell. People are so ungodly misinformed about proper care and treatment of a betta that the people who this is targeted towards will eat it up. Unknowing that they are torturing the poor animal to death. I'd really love to know what started this 'trend' that it's alright to keep bettas in teen tiny bowls.....

my friend down there said she's seen them, and thinks they're cruel of course. Since it's attracting the attn. of activists...it'll be off the shelf soon

haha hadn't thought of that!
eeeew ill have to find the article i found about fish cruelites there was one of some one who used bettas in a electric whizzer thing as an art show thing and the guest were allowed to turn the whizzer on and kill the fish....
the court let them off because the fish died qiukly

That's ridiculous & cruel...ugh.
The vibrations of the music could seriously harm/stress the fish! & plus, it's too small.
Things like that make me sick...it's crazy!! Bettas aren't toys!
