At my LFS the other day they had some fish called rusty cichlid which I looked up to be Iodotropheus.......(excuse spelling)......

All the research I have done tells me they are peaceful mbuna which will do well in many aquariums. The tank it will be going into has Aulonocara, Cyrtocara, Yellow labs, Pseudo acei and clown loaches. They are medium size and I have room for them.

Does anyone else have them? Any good or bad points I should be aware of?

Great fish that will do well in your tank. They are peaceful by Mbuna standards, very similar to labs and acei. I have kept them in the past with labs and never had any problems.

They're perfect for your tank. Fairly aggressive amongst themselves, but they pretty much ignore non-conspecifics and would get beaten on by more aggressive species.
