Introducing Rummy Noses

i have heard that rummy noses are difficult to introduce to the tank

can someone please tell me how to do this successfully

i cant offer you any advice, but as soon as i opened the thread i was hoping it would be this question. im interested in them myself. looking forward to replies.

leave them in the bag to acclimitise longer than usual while adding tank water into the bag every few minutes,,
we had 14 but 8 died within a day and the water was fine

When i first got my tank set up i added 10 rummy noses as my first fish... they seemed fairy easy, just put the bag in... add 1 cup and wait 15 - 20 minutes... repeat 3 times the take them out . they should stay in a group and huddle at the bottom for around 15 mintes before they start exploring .

I have had mine for about 4 weeks with no deaths u should be fine

Hi,

I have Rummy Noses in my tank and have always found them to be reasonably hardy fish.

Just make sure you acclimitise them properly.

lol true... however they are better in every way - hardier, more colorful, and grow slightly larger
