Introduced Some New Fish, Old Fish Died

Well last night I finally replaced my b/n and also added two siamese algae eaters.

The b/n is quite large and already developed (male) and has decided to live in my bogwood. When my tank was completly full two of my smaller loaches were able to live on top of my filter impeller.

But last night while aclimatising the new fish the water level dropped so the 2 yoyos couldnt get ontop of the filter.

so I woke up with a small dead yoyo

there is another small one and two big ones, im worried the other small one might die aswell.

i would run a water test just to be cautious.
do you have some place for the yoyo's to hide?
i know mine like to hide inside the buddha head.

hrm I dont have a budda head but I am thinking a small stone cave of some sort.

my stats are fine. ammonia 0, nitrate 5 nitrite 0 pH 7 KH 6

the only thing I can think of is no hiding space its weird though because the other two bigs ones dissapear for long periods and the other small one seems to just lie around in plain view. Like the bogwood is almost 2 ft in width! there is plenty of places to hide.

maybe they are just trying to figure out the tank. my yoyos hung around for a while after i redecorated the tank, once they seem to get the lay of the land the found a place to settle into.
