Just wanted to say that all the people having problems getting enough light into their tank should really check out the new T5 power compacts, i used to get only 45 watts into my 20 gallon tank but now have got 118 watts which means i can finally create my amano style tank.
They seem to be simularprice to the standard stuff aswell
My orinaly 15 watt starter unit was £15 and 18 inch 15 watt bulb £10
The new T5 is a 36 watt unit £17.99 and 36 watt bulb which is amazingly storter than standard fluorescents at 16 inches is £12.99
