Interested In Bristlenose Plecs

For christmas my parents are promising me a 55 gallon tank...i figured i would plan my stocking from the bottom up.

I want a community, non-aggressive tank. could I have a pair of bristlenose? i really like the albinos.
still trying to figur out a plan for the rest of the stocking, but have liked the plecs for a long time

A pair of BNs will be fine.
In a 55g i would go for something liks
2 BNs (1male 1female)
8 corys
3 apistogramma (1male 2females) Theres loads of different types so have a look and see which ones you like
2 keyhole cichlid (1male 1female)
10 threadfin rainbow fish Or a type of small tetra or rasbora
10 marble hatchets
1 festivum or dwarf gourami
Hows that look? a few of the fish could be switched around.

Sounds awesome. You can get two BN's (male and female) and also a group of smaller tetras like neons, cardinals, glowlights, and cory catfish etc along with some gouramis. It'll look great, good luck.

I wouldn't put any festivum in any community tank that has small fishes! Especially neons and small daino's!

Bristlenose our the best fish... go for it. You will get babys!
