Insert Between The Tank And Cabinet

I have recently bought my self a 6ft x 1ft x 1ft fish tank and cabinet. What insert do you recommend me putting between the tank and the cabinet?

Depends on what kind of base the tank has.

If it has any kind of trim/plastic/metal that goes underneath the tank, then that's a 'floating base', and you don't need anything underneath it at all; it's designed to sit straight onto the cabinet.

If it doesn't, and the glass is sitting directly on the cabinet top, you'll need some polystyrene sheet to go underneath. As the tank is not very deep, you don't need to go mad: half inch stuff would be fine.
