I added two live plants to my aquarium yesterday, no I didn't quarrantine. Tonight, I looked at the lid and there are these teeny wormlike things, for lack of a better word.

They're probably about 1/4" long and they're mostly transparent with a little bit of a line down the middle that might be the actual "body" in the clear goopy stuff. About 1/2mm from the end of the line there's a black dot, smaller than a period printed on a page that seems to be the head.

I don't know for sure what these are, and they're on the bottom side of the lid to my tank, congregating at what appears to be the residue from a stray flake of food, but exploring all over. I'd say the lid of the tank is probably 2"-3" from the water level... before I mix up some saltwater and scrub it down, I'd like to know what they are

TIA!

[edit] two nights ago we had a run on the house of those little tiny centipedes coming in through every crack and crevice, but I thought I got them all, and well before they could've pretended to think about trying to scale the fishtank and stand
