Sorry just a quick question, what size pipes does the fluval 305 have. I'm looking at replacing my in tank heater with an inline one, just not sure what size I need.

Cheers
Jack

I believe it uses it's own ribbed stuff, which you'll struggle to get a heater to seal onto. However I do also believe that you can switch it out for 16/22 smooth, but I'm not 100% on that as I've not done it myself.

Cheers for that mate, yes it does have the ribbed tubing. Will have to look at getting some smooth from somewhere.

Cheers

Hey, I was just going to ask that question myself except I'm looking for a Hydor inline heater for my Rena XP2 & Rena XP3.  Does anyone know what size tubing those filters have?  They appear to be the same.
