Incredibly Aggressive Thicklip Gourami

I have recently bought a female honey Gourami (thought it was a Sunset Thicklip ) in an attempt to tone down my male Thicklip's aggression towards my female Thicklip. If anything, he has got more aggressive , chasing the two females about the tank constantly. They are both currently hiding at the bottom of the tank. He is trying to build a bubblenest at the moment, which might be a reason for aggression.

The 2 females are being terrorised!

What should I do?
