A few days ago I lost my ballon molly, Cleo. For those of you who don't know what happened to my sweet little girl, my balloon molly was looking really thin and she suddenly was on the botton of the tank. Since I didn't have a hospital available, I placed her in a cooler. I hardly got any sleep because I kept waking up every couple hours ti check on her. I only had one air pump and kept rotating it between the hospital tank, which contained a neon tetra with Ick, and the cooloer where poor Cleo was. She survived through the night but sadly didn't live long through the day.
She was the cutest and sweetest balloon molly I ever had. I'm starting to cry as I'm writing this, so here's the last few pictures that I've taken of Cleo. My heart is broken deeply, but I know she's in a good place.
Thanks for the comforting words! I'm still very heatbroken about her death and miss her a lot. I could tell Cleo was lonesome without her buddy Bubbles, but she had a little boyfriend named Shadow. I don't know what went wrong!
