I actually am not a noob and i dont have any of the tanks i said i had.
I am very sorry

Ok I actually only have a goldfish bowl and a 10 gallon tank,
but i am getting a seventy five in about 3 weeks

And i actually have an urgent question that i would love u guys to answer

Ok so in my golfish bowl i have one ryukin goldfish and i just did a water change yesterday
now it has been acting funny
It has just been floating at the top then when it wasnt floating a the top it was swimming
downward as hard as possible then just floating back up to the top


Once again i am deeply sorry
and please help

Stop feeding him flake and give him granular food. Starve him for 3 days then feed him boiled squashed peas for a few days to clear him out.
I dont know whats been happening but I hope your fish gets better

I wasnt planning on putting the goldfish in the ten gallon but i could if it is needed

so i should starve him for 3 days!!

Come on guys, back off the dude. He's said he's sorry and he has a genuine fish problem now.

Anyway, yeah, the advice is good. If he's ingested air, peas are the way to go. If he has swimbladder, i dont think there's much you can do, i've never had any success treating it.

then start feeding it peas for a couple of days then move it into his 10 gallon
