Could you post a picture of your setup? I would love to keep a tortoise but i wouldnt know where to start

I will do when I can take some more photo's. The lights have all gone out now and Scooter and Twinkle have gone to bed

The setups depend really on what breed of tortoise you want to keep. Mine are tropical and are kept differently to Mediterranean tortoises. Also there are conflicting idea's as to how they should be kept indoors. I bought mine from the top breeder of Indian Star's in the country so dispite what some people may say to the contrary I have taken his advice 100% and done exactly as instructed.

Guess who was up early this morning (6.15am early for me). Worried about the tort's whether the background night heat was warm enough and whether the lights would come on at the right time.

Thank goodness all was well and they were still tucked up in their bedroom. Phew....

I have never been a turtle fan but them two are lovely.

Turtles are (mostly) water dwelling and tortoise land dwelling. These are tortoise

thanks you two. The female is getting on for a year old and the male is around 6 months. They will grow to around 2.5kg in weight and 25cm. They don't hibernate and being tropical are ideal if you want to keep them mainly indoors, which I did so I can watch them. When it's hot in the summer they will be able to go out in a run.
