paul... i already have arachnidphobia (i was born with it ok?). and i saw a massive big black spider crawling all over the den. now you've officially deprived me of sleep, though i have to admit the eating of the fly was pretty cool.

i'm not exactly a great fan of spiders but i wasn't gonna let it stay in my room.

flies are easy jus wait for them to land on a window put them in a net then push the net tight sao they can't move then grab there wings with pliers...or your hands.

another fly had gone this morning. I can either catch some more flies or make it into a snack for the fish.......... or i could take it to college and let u go near the girls computers.....

spiders are minging they lick there lips when you look at them and they want food (your arm) there like vampires wait until night time so they can eat you.

i hate spiders if i had a wish it would be to get rid of them and scorpians not snakes they are nice.

what is wrong with you people?
there is nothing wrong with spiders!
they eat pesky flies and squitos (mosquitos)!
when i find them in my house i pick them up by hand and place them outside
i've never been bit (except when i was younger and i had one in my hands and was running, which scared the hell out of the spider and it bit me)
if you don't harm them, most (except for a select few species) will tolerate a gentle hand slowly scooping them up and placeing them softley outside
rather then squooshing them

That spider would have lived as long as it took me to grab a trowel.



If it comes inside, it dies. If it's outside and has many mosquitos, flies, or ants in it's web, I shake its hand.

I didn't kill it, I put it in the wood shed yesterday as i couldn't be bothered to catch more flies for it, although I offered to post it to people mates etc for a laugh!!

It was actually probabl the best 2 days of it's life as it didn't have any risk of being eten and it had food when it wanted it.

I won't handle spiders with my hands simple because I'm not keen on them.

I agree with atomzero they should stay outside where there wanted and out of our way. On my paper round a walk into so many webs across the paths, and I don't think anyone enjoys web in the face!

You ever had a spider living in your car? It's awful. Once, I had a little one living there for a few weeks. There would be new webs in my face everytime I got in!
