Im Pissed

yep thats normal for them to poop when they are due to drop and they also do loads after dropping so dont be alarmed by it, if the poop looks like a string of sausages as i said before then shes almost there

Its just a whole bunch of short poops. 1 short one every 5 min.

without sounding crude, she just clearing herself out before she drops, oh when she had her fry feed her she will be soooooooo hungry and will need to build her strenght up

I never fed the 2 baby fry yet. Im going to feed them tommorrow. Will they die since they didnt eat the whole day? (they were born this morning, or maybe yesturday.)

yep they will be ok till tomorrow as fry dont eat for the first day.

Im looking at one of my other platies and i noticed she is really, really fat. She is dark blue color so i cant see gravid spot. She is also pooing a thin white strand. is that the aftermath and shes about to give birth also?

No fry... Do i just leave the platy in the breeder box or do i taker her out?

camera isnt working... she doesnt look like she has babies in her, its just that her anal is square. do i just leave her in there?

Ill be posting some pics up soon. There will be pics of the preg platy, the swordtail, and a blue platy that im not sure if she is pregnant.

PICTURE TIME. we will start with the swordtail pic, then the preg platy in box, then the blue platy that i am not sure is preg, and then a breeder box set up for fry. (i bought another box today) many pics may seem blurry cause fish are fast...

the platy in the breeder is only about 2 weeks pregnant, so you need to remove her

the blue is almost full time so will drop first, she was prob the one that dropped some fry not long ago, she should drop within 2 days

the sword does look as if half way thru gestation

So should i put the blue one in now even though its early afternoon? (1 30 pm)

My other preg orange platy is a little fatter than this preg orange but you can actually see babies in her. When would you think she would drop?
