Im New And Looking For Some New Fish Loving Friends

hello,

just thought i would like to say hello. i have a new passion FISHES!!!!! :hyper:

Right now i have a catfish that eats guppies :grr:

bad fish, so my guppy pop. is down to three very smart ones. and 6 platiys in a ten gallon tank. im trying to find the guppys a new home. so anyway. i working on learning how to use this forum so if i mess up sorry.

Yes, a ten gallon might be too small for some catfish. But :hi:

well heres the thing the catfish frank is now died. :-(

rest in peace my guppy eating friend. my fish keep dying !!!! why oh why do they die! my water quality is bad. but i'm or i should say my husband is doing 25% water changes every couple days. i want to put my betta in the tank but i dont want him to die either. were gonna change the filter soon. any suggentions? thanks for welcoming me. channing

What water conditioner are you using for the replacement water? Have your water tested at most any local shop, have them write down the numbers, and post them here.

You should do water changes about every day if you don't want the fish to die. If they all die, cycle your tank before putting any other fish inside.

i think you made a good choice bettas and gold beginner and easy / hard fish to take care of. i have had bettas before and i still have them along with that i have 2 tropical fish tanks 2 betta aquarium/bowls and one big tank that has 1 red skirt tetra, 1blck lyre tail mollie and 1 pleco i also have in there 3 fantail goldfish with commet goldfish. i suggest that if you buy any plants or decorations i say watch out for ick cause i bought a decoration from the store washed it then put it in the tank and the fish got ick the next few days so watch out.
