Well, went back to Bedford to see the family, stopped off at MA and bought 10 red eye tetras.... Wish i got 15 now....

whats great about these is that they occur naturally with many central american cichlids

Good choice As Lloyd said they are a good choice for a Central tank Get some nice Cichlids in there - the Ellioti sound great. Is it a 240? Your could possibly work a few feature males in there and the Tetras work well. I always think wild type Swordtails look great in Central tanks as well There is one type of Hoplo that gets quite far north and a good candidate for this tank

Its just a 110l (rekord 800 i think), so if i was to get an ellioti i think more than the 1 may be a push....well i think anyway. Since joining this site I've become alot more strict on stocking

Ah right yeah fair enough, it looks bigger!

A pair of something would be nice with the dithers. Rainbows or Cutteri are nice and if you can find them Nanoleutus are amazing!

Right, an update.... Up'd the tetras to 15 and have added a pair of rainbow cichlids

Also added a few more plants. Will add pics later

Ah excellent choice!! Rainbows are a fish that I really like but have never kept, kind of keeping my eyes open for the right specimen though
