Fish Herder
Hello all!!!!!
Just to let you know i'm back in buisness after my two weeks away and i can't wait to get started on more tanks lol. All the fish are fine and the tanks only had a little algae bloom but nothing to worry about
Broms fins are now an inch long!!! When i left him he had barely a centimeter and he's a lovely blue, lilac and red (he's my mothers favourite, whenever she pops in she likes to have a good look at him) but he's still a shy little boy.
Djins tank was almost half empty due to evapouration and the sponge i tied to his filter outlet had come off making the water rather turbulent i don't know how long he was battleing the current for but after a good feed and a water change and top up he's back to his inquisative self with all stress strips gone, he's still a baby but his fins are coming along nicely.
I was worried about Radish when i arrived as he seemed to be hiding in his plants alot and he's normally a boystrouse and bossy little thing, i tempted him out with some foood and checked the tank the only problem was a little algae but apart from that there was nothing, so when it was his turn for a water change i busied myself with the gravel vac (lord that sand will never be clean again with my plants in it) i turned away for a second and looked back only to see him doing one of his favourite tricks, swimming up the gravel vac! i stopped syphoning immediately of course and out he plopped into the water, i think he was just moody because he only got fed once a week whilst i was gone
Anyway sorry for the long post and if any of it doesnt make sense please forgive me as i arrived in the country at 5:30 this morning having had 2hrs sleep on the plane and thats it lol.
Feels good to be home.
