GSP's get to 6" and would soon make a meal of bumblebee gobies. BBG's need low brackish also, and GSP's need higher as they get older.

As it takes some time for a GSP to grow to full size (and need the higher salinity) you could get away with BBGs with a GSP at around 1.005 to 1.008.

I currently have a Bumblebee Goby in with a Green Spotted Puffer and a juvenile Black Molly in a 55gallon hex. kept at 1.008.
Everyone tolerates everyone else in the tank. The GSP and BBG have been together for about 4 or 5 months. I know I'm lucky, and have a back-up plan in case it stops working out.

Be sure to provide lots of hiding places for the BBG(s), and be ready to rehome them if needed.
Bumblebee Gobies can be difficult to feed. They tend to prefer moving food. I feed frozen bloodworm to the GSP, who is an awfully messy eater, and the BBG eats what falls below. If that doesn't work, try feeding the BBG after the GSP has eaten -- make sure the food gets caught up in the filter's output so that it gets moved around.

Here's an idea...

that tank is amazing if i must say.
i have 2 bumble bee gobies now im not getting puffers and i have trouble feeding my bumble bee gobies.
the man in my LFS said to try dafnia and thais paste stuff so i bought them and i havnt seen them eating it yet.
o yeh how can you tell the difference between male and female.
one of my BBG's is bigger than my other one and it has brighter colours and is slightly fatter.
sometimes it chases the other one i dont know if they are mating or fighting.
please someone reply.
thanks black molly3

Have you tried freeze-dried bloodworms? Makes more sense that they'd go after something alive and moving, but the two I have love them, and have never given me a problem. Mine have even taken some flake food and eyed my slightly-too-large feeder guppies, but it's obvious that they love the bloodworms.
