Well, I swore one day that I would never EVER buy fish from Wal-Mart, but, yesterday, they gave me no choice. They had some Turquoise Rainbows (Neon Dwarf Rainbows) and some Australian Rainbows (I think theyre Red Line Rainbows) in with a tank of 2-2.5" Kenyi's! 3 of the Rainbows were dead because of the Kenyis, so I bought the remaining 2.

Loads of people on here buy fish from Wal-mart. Don't worry about it. Just be happy that you saved them, and next time, walk straight past!

If i were you I would worry, or atleast I hope you have quarentined (sp?) those fish.

You bought fish from a tank with dead fish in it  Not the best idea.

I know its not a good idea, but I felt sorry for them, and yes, I have them ALL in quarantine, and theyre gonna stay that way for a month!

thats right, i never buy fish from a tank with dead ones in it, if it had been a good shop they would have not let you buy them, but having said that i wish you good luck with the fish, i hope you did save them and they will be fit and healthy for many years to come :D

Sounds good.

However, remember you felt sorry for the fish, but now you risk putting your fish at risk. U dont want anything to happen to them do you?

ya they have some good fish but the people who run usually dont know what they are doing and/or they are not around to get the fish you need. ive bought a ouple of tetras there. but thats about it. they dont have much to choose form.

I agree there are probably some Walmarts with good fish, I have not been to any

However, we are talking about someone who went into a bad one, and purchased fish.

Canarsie, I would have never bought them, but they were gonna die, and like I said, I have them in quarantine. My Wal-Mart is good disease-wise, its just that their tanks are overstocked, and most of the fish people there are incompetent.

Thats fine. No need to take offence, but let me get this straight you bought the fish cause they were gonna die?

Is it just me or does this makes no sense.

Good luck with your fish ;)

All I am saying in this hobby ;) , with these sensitive animals ;) . Why put yourself at an disadvantage.

There are risks when buying healthy looking fish ;) , and you go out and buy dyiing ones  .

Then you tell us, then get mad when we express our opinion

Good luck with your fish :D

Canarsie, I wasnt mad, and I wont take offense, but they werent gonna die due to disease. They were in a tank with KENYIS! KENYIS! How incompetent is that on Wal-Marts part? Theyre perfectley fine health-wise, they were just gonna be killed by the Kenyis.

Starting arguments with other people, now, canarsie11? Tsk, tsk. :p I thought that spot was reserved for me.
