I am not starting arguments with anyone.

Just stating my opinion thats all
Sorry about that. Just feeling a little left out is all.

Canarsie, I know stress leaves fish open to disease, thats why Ive got them in a quarintine for now. I mean, isn't it better to have a fish in quarantine and treat him if needed than leave him in a tank of Kenyis, meaning certain death? :(

Yes it is :D . Good Luck to you ;) .

I just feel IMO, its one thing if you are given stressed, dieseased, or fish that were not housed properly to give tlc to ;) .

I just dont get spending money on these fish that all  .

Good Luck

Well, Ive wanted Rainbowfish for a while, and these were cheap, so them being in with the Kenyis only gave me a reason to buy from Wal-Mart, otherwise I never would have.
Sean

Yes Walmart is a store in the states.

Known for great prices on everything, not just fish everything.

Supermarket, automobile, cooked food, clothing, etc.

However, notorious for having bad live fish selection :flex:

I've bought numerous fish from Wal-Mart in the past, and more recently I've bought ADF's. I've had mostly an even amount of good fish to bad fish ratio. The bad could be from when I first started out, I had no idea what I was doing but the more recent purchases have all been good excepting a couple of Guppies.

sean, i understand why you bought them , even though a lot of people don't seem to. if they were going to be killed by another fish, i think you did the right thing by saving them, even if they do not make it atleast they were properly care for for a little while

Thanks Nino, thanks everyone who encouraged me. I guess that inclues you Canarsie :p . Lol, Im just kidding, thanks everyone, including you Canarsie :D , and I wont make the same mistake again.

I don't think saving any fish from an untimely death is a mistake, and you shouldn't be discouraged by people who think otherwise.

I hope you prove all the skeptics to be wrong.

Thumbs up for a good deed

That speech is great in theory.

However, buying fish from places with poor quality, only makes them sell more.

If people stop buying, then places will stop selling.

2. Why risk your healthy fish at home

3. I know I have no money to waste, you are at risk when buying seemingly healthy fish. Not wasting my cash on fish that are stressed out and not healthy from jump.

Original poster knew they were wrong, look at title of the topic. "I'm Ashamed"
