hi people i have lost 7 fish in past few days 3 swordtails (unknown cause) 2 guppys (fin rot) a clown loach ( not sure could have been whitespot) and a zebra danio. i also have a very bloated male molly which i think has either dropsy or internal parasites so u could say im not a very happy guy. i also had an ammonia spike in my tank i think was due to the danio wich died but has not been found even though i took the tank apart.

When you say whitespot, can you decribe in detail what you saw.
A fish being bloated can mean constipation, dropsy, swim bladder, internal parasites.
So what do you feed the fish.
Can the fish maintain its balance in the water.
Are scales sticking out.
What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.
Is the aus enlarged or red and inflamed.

the molly died he couldnt swim he was at the bottom of tank more or less rolling around the bottom of tank. i feed the fish flake sometimes cucumber wich they never touch and catfish pellets for the loaches that most the fish eat.
with the whitespot its like the fish have small whitish/grey spots on them and not feeding much. the smallest clown died an hour ago and the last clown doesnt look the best. im treating for the whitespot with protozoin whitespot/velvet treatment.
none of the other fish are bloated or enlarged anuses but two of the swords do seem to have whitish spots on their tails

roughly same size as a grain of salt. both other clowns now dead think the it was the whitespot that killed them and an oto. thats now 3 clown loaches 3 srowds 2guppies 1 danio 1 oto and 1 molly in 3 days and my stats are grand really would love to know the cause

Whitespot can look greyish as well as white spots.

yes im using protozin whitespot treatment but it nearly too late any fish that has had whitespot has died there only 1 sword wit a little bit of whitespot on its tail.
id love to know why there all dying it couldnt be whitespot killing all of them

Whitespot is a killer it infest the gills.
Were the fish that died laboured breathing as that when the damage has been done to the gills.

the two clowns that died yesterday and today had laboured breathing but not any of the other fish most had no symptoms at all they just died

temps at max it 26c and aeration at most it can get

You need to get the temp higher, if you don't have another heater I would buy one.

lost another sword she couldnt keep her balance, wasnt eating and went very skinny so i think she had an internal problem aswell as whitespot. no other fish now look ill but if its internal theres not much i can do is there
