if i was to sell a 3 inch fish on ebay to post what stuff would i need to post the fish and what would be the cost

Is this a rare fish and hard to come by or is the fish an average everyday fish you can find in any pet store? In short what kind of fish is it? If it is a common fish your better of trying to give/sell it to a fish store, no one it there right mind will buy a single common fish from eBay, especially with shipping charges. If it is a rare fish you might be able to sell it on eBay.

Looking around online, I'm seeing 2" dolphins going for just under $7 US or even less for groups of them. I wouldn't bother trying to sell him on ebay, especially if you aren't familiar with shipping live fish. Try for a partial or full refund from the LFS instead, or try to sell him locally to someone who can pick him up. If you're in the US, craigslist is good for things like that.

if you're going to sell it on craigslist, make sure you specify that the cichlid's for adoption and the adoption fee. otherwise, people will most likely flag your ad for deletion.
