I found this little odd ball a couple weeks ago and for the life of me, I can't identify this type of fish. It has a long slender body with light vertical stripes similar to that of a killifish but the mouth is different. I have included a picture. Sorry for it being blurry. The little booger is fast. He's blow the bala shark. Any ideas?

I don't know the fish, but I have some tips If you can't get any good pics - I always find that an in-focus video of the fish is useful. You can then pause the video and take screenshots, or just upload the video to YouTube and post the link

It looks a little like a stickleback, but I doubt they are really sold in pet shops over in the UK.
A clearer picture will definantly help with an ID, as will any other information like how its dorsal fin(S) are formed, shape of the tail.

Sticklebacks can be found over here in the Uk in Lfs, mainly in ones that specialise in pond fish.
I did see an article about setting up a tank for them, I'll see if I can find it.
