I'm looking to get an eheim external filter and just wondered what is the ideal tank turnover rate?

I've read alot of posts where people are saying around 5x is fine, then I read another post where the person had same tank as mine (jewul rio 125) and there filter was 17x turnover.

I was looking at the eheim 2026, which is the turnover rate?

Pump Output: 950 l/h? or
Filter Circulation: 650 l/h?

Either way this filter will be minimum of 5x my tank size, is that ok?

Thanks for any help in advance

Andy

Can anybody please tell me which of these figures is the turnover rate?

Pump Output: 950 l/h? or
Filter Circulation: 650 l/h?

Regards

I'm guessing for them sort of turnover rates I would need a powerhead??

Yes m8 but very unessersary turnovers for a standard fish tank aimfor 5x to 10x that will be fine... reason mine was so high is the tank housed plecs so nice fast flow is what they required ;)

Thanks, when I get an eheim external filter, I want a spraybar, how do they attach to the tank? My tank is the jewul rio 125, can you see any issues with being able to fit a spraybar?
