I want to know what this bright green plant is. It's from the Member's Planted tank thread, the tank is lljdma06's. I hope you don't mind that I'm using it..

I think the direct way to know the answer is to ask the owner directly, if he knows he sure will tell you. :)

Give him or her a PM. :)

Well... I PM'd them yesterday and I think it'd been about 24 hours. No reply yet. So, anybody else have any guesses? I need to buy my plants soon...

Looks like limnophilia sessiliflora to me, and, if it is, you can't buy it here. It's on the federal noxious weed list.

Edit: Sorry! I just looked at his plant list and it's Myriophyllum aquaticum. But I'm no expert, so don't trust me 100%.

Ah, thanks a lot! I'm buying my plants today and I'm glad I can have it. What is the Noxioius weed list?

It's basically the government saying that you can't ship certain plants in the US because they are invasive and would take over our waters because they grow too fast and have no natural enemy.

Yep Myriophyllum aquaticum sounds about right. BTW Llj is often online, but it is Xmas, no dount she'll be back on again to confirm. Its common name is parrot's feather, which in the UK is killing may of our water ways and lakes, almost impossible to get rid of once its in a lake or river.
