Id This Fish

Hello chaps just seen this fish at pets at home they don't know what it is.... What is it? I like the looks of it but wouldn't buy blindly.

Chinese Algae Eater - a few species that fall under that common name. Generally speaking quite problematic as they age and stop eating algae - known to attack slow moving fish or large bodied fish. If you like these though check out the Flying Fox

Ironic that they dont know what they are when they sell them by the hundreds as youngsters

my worst nightmare!!!

I swear.. i have nightmares about hoards of these fish decending and eating all my fishies in the shop!!

I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole if i was paid to!

Flying Foxes are not aggressive...just robust and slightly boisterous.

And yeah, that is a CAE, one of the fishes I hate (along with Silvertip Tetras)
