I'd really like an ADF

I'd really like to get an ADF, but I'm a little confused as to how to pick it out from the big regular African frogs. I know they say the ADF have webbing, but I think I've seen African Frogs with webbing...maybe I wasn't looking hard enough?

Do the really jump out of tanks? The tank I'd like to put them in has no lid.

Would they do alright with a sand substrate?

Look at it when it is swimming.

Yes they jump but no very strongly so they can't jump 2 inches. ACFs are the jumpers.

Sand is better for there little belly's.

Hmm...I've been debating on whether or not to get a hood for the tank...

My water is about an inch of two from the top, and there's nothing close to the top of the water that could help "catapult" them from the tank...

Looks like I'll be ADF shopping tomorrow...

I'm so paranoid about accidently getting a ACF....

Oh...will they eat ghost or amano shrimp? (not that I want them to...but I have some in the tank that I'd like to keep from being food)

An ADF only gets as long as a ghost shrimp so no don't worry.
