It was a very small fish, found buy a big coral head swimmnig around. It was black with very bright blue spots on it. From what I could see the shape was kind of like a juvy angel but not quiet the same. Agian it was probly only 1-1.5 inches long. If anyone can identifiy this fish for me that would be great! Ohh yeah forogt to mention, I may have been a juvy fish or maybe even a full grown one.

Umm, Without a picture its really hard to I.D...Lotta fish in the sea :good: But maybe the all knowing Ski can help  .

Small, black, bright blue spots, similar body style to a pygmy angel? got me

Perhaps a juvenile emperor angel? Or a Juvi blue-faced angel?

Most likely it was a juv. Jeweled Damsel. In the ocean the dark blue base color would appear as black. Among fish from the Carribean they are one of the easiest to find. It should be fairly easy to get one special ordered if your local store does not have one in stock.

I agree. Juvenile angels usually have stripes, not spots. :hey:
