A LFS has a plant in and it's lovely but I don't want to buy it unless it's an easy one. It looks like a fern, the leaves are a tiny bit silvery on the underside, the leaf sections are overlapping and they feel very tough and leathery. I've been through the index on here and can't find anything even vaguely like it.
Thanks if anyone can do anything with that

Edit-it's the ferny thing on post #84 on this page. Further posts ID it as Selaginella willdenowii, a non aquatic plant, although a google search reveals several places (like this one) selling it as aquatic

Not entirely sure but does it look like this?

Here is a place to look if you have time
http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide.php

Sorry I am not that helpful :look:

Hmmm, possibly. I'll have a look at that site when I've got (a lot!) more time, thanks :)

You're welcome, sorry I'm not much help, hard to say when there is no pics. But the picture I posted is a non-aquatic plant.
Trichomanes javanicum
It will rot in water eventually, if that is the plant you saw.

Thanks for the name. Just searched for shots of that and it's not it :( I'll see if I can get a pic next time I'm in there.
