Hello all,

Over the last 3 days ive seen 3 of my fish Flicking them self off the sand or a plant... Ive looked at almost every fish and nothing seems to be wrong. Cant see any differnet and they are all feeding good. Any suggestions to what i can be?

There are alot of reasons fish can scratch on objects in the tank. The most common is ich, but it is best to not assume ich until you know for sure. The first thing you need to do is test your water for ammonia and nitrites. Also, make sure your pH is normal (whatever that may be for you).

Ok, What types of fish do you have, how big is your tank?

Do the fish have a gold dusting on them, white dots, red inflamed gills, excessive slime, do they appear listless, are they gasping at the surface?

All the water stats are fine.
The tank is 45 gallons, i have 2 angel fish, a german blue ram, 7 Corys, 10 neons, 10 sissortails. I first thougth ich but i checked the neons and they are looking great. Everything seems to eating well. One of the angels had like sand on its two fins that dangle down at the front, but thats prob from the substrate. I cant see anything that you have mentioned. Saw a few sissortails flick off the plant and my ram flick off the sand.
