Ok because the waters high enough that they can swim into the first little part of the filter and that's what the plecos doing and the others are just swimming in the current.

-1 red platy . It seems like they all have it really bad except the plecos who appear to be getting better.
Everyone else seems to be getting worse.
1 of my remaining 2 red platys has a cut tail. How could this have happened?

Just did a 13% water change. 4 gallons you could also say. Didn't put the water high enough the fish could swim into the filter. About 1/2 inch vs. 1-1 1/4 in before

I also put in an air pump to put more air in the water. Will this help at all?

yes that will help, keep doing water changes and dosing medications and hopefully it will start to clear up for you

How long have you been using the medication? If the fish are getting worse, the medication may no be working. You may need to throw some carbon in, do a water change and change meds. I did the first dose yesterday and I am ALREADY seeing a improvement. I have my temp up to 84F and dosed with 2 drops per gallon. Can barely see the white spot on the sickest one after 24 hours.

*EDIT* I just went back to the first page of the thread, and saw that you are using the same stuff i was. That same product was the one that WASNT working for me.

IMO, you should switch meds if you can find someone. Call around to all of your petstores to see if you can get something better. Whereabouts are you? US or UK?

Do you have a petsmart? that is where I got the kordon rid ich and i know that stuff works, or see if you can find the stuff in the link from my last post. I am only advising as I was using the same stuff as you are and my cichlid got worse. 24 hours of different treatment and the ich is almost gone.

Ok I'll check there all my fish are worsening but the plecos and I already lost 6 fish.

Ok I found the rid-ich plus on petsmart website. I assume they have it should I just dose the whole tank or do a big w/c and add to the water?

Do a big water change (large enough to where there is just enough for the fish to swim upright) and then dose
