hi i am doing hypo in dt tank with live rock and sand with a coral beauty and singapore angel it is 1.015 right now wat should i lower it to? 1.009 right? i am freshwater diping them because they have marine ich. Thank you nd btw i use baking soda to raise ph in dip
 
dnt fres water dip for white spot its infective on the parasite and just makes them get worst get another tank and set it up as qt and ich is a fresh water disease its marine white spot

are you sure freshwater dipping is innefective? Anybody elses opinion? If dipping isnt effective neither is hyposalinity then eh?
 
Freshwater dipping is good and bad... You cannot expect it, alone, to cure your fish. Marine Ich does not just live on the surface of the fish, the "younger" stage lives deeper down in the fish's skin. A freshwater dip may help to kill those on the surface, but it will not harm those that are still deeper in. If you cannot qt the fish and treat with copper, than I would just continue your hypo treatment.
