I Would Like To Add These Fish

Hi. I have a juwel vision 260 litre. I got 20 cardinals, 6 cory, 1 bristle nose. I've seen some cherry barbs at lfs. they are the best I have seen, ive never seen them this red before. Will they be ok with my fish and do they need to be in a small group to be happy. My tank is well planted.

They must be happy in your tank. What other fish do you keep them with?

I think you have plenty of space. I would get a shoal of 10.

i too think u have plenty of space for these small but beautiful fish.
i neva by shoal fish at less than 6 at a time...the more the merry

easy to look after, not messy fish, easy to breed, careful though as they have a taste for their own eggs!
and will eat them all if given the chance.

another small community school fish that go very well in a well planted tank are "silver tip tetra's" or "harlequins"

I got 6 cherry barbs. 2 died in 2 days. The other 4 look ok. No sign why they died. Will probably get another 6 next week. When they first went in my tank they chased my cardinals all over the place there were cardinal scattering in all directions.
