that's a big tank, in your position i'd look at keeping either african or south american cichlids, very colourful & interesting behaviour, there are forums devoted to them on this website. The world is pretty much your oyster with a 6 footer!

Yeah im reading all about them now. I've breed convicts before but my saratoga just ate all of them, so when i sell it i can start my community tank :)

Yes, don't know what you do currently overall but if you're bored and want to work on a six footer you could consider working a bit on the planted side of the hobby if that would be new to you and with that beginning work on having more plants it would look absolutely stunning to have a larger group of rainbows or bosmani rainbows, like drobbyb is talking about, perhaps with a large shoal of rasbora heteromorpha and a huge lively shoal of pygmy corys or something.

If you want large fish to show off the beauty of the big tank, you could keep dwarf cichlids like kribensis or somewhat larger, but still smallish, fish like rainbow cichlids. My 6 foot tank is a mixed species community with angels, rainbow cichlids, rasboras, glowlight tetras, black neons, a male betta, and some cories. My breeding female molly finally died of old age while in her fry drop tank so she didn't come back last time.
A rainbow cichlid is not the same as an Australian rainbow. It is a Herotilapia multispinosa and is a fairly peaceful vegetarian when not breeding.
My rainbow cichlids.
