I Want More Fish!

In my 64L (16 gallon) i have 5 platies and 4 silvertip tetras. I'll be getting some bottom feeders too, most likely cories, but i've always wanted to keep neon tetras. Would i be able to have a shoal if i got a snail instead of the cories? I'd love to have both, but i'm pretty sure that would be horribly overstocked

I have some of both in my tank, and although neons are pretty the Corys are soooo much more fun and interesting to watch and give the tank much more lie than the neons! But thats my opinion! I love corys
