I Thought They Were Harmless?

Ive recently purchased a small 7-8cm cameroon armoured fan shrimp, for my 17(us)/15(uk)g 60cm tank. It seems my bristlenose and my shrimp were in a battle for territory (a rock). My pleco seems to be injured, a small chuck of his skin is missing just under his gills (its hanging on, the skin that is) will he be ok, my shrimp is fine but it seems the plec scared it off.

cameroon armoured shrimp will defend themselfs with their front legs
which have very hard and sharp points.
the points will penitrate bone, trust me I know!

i would say yes but be carefull the would does not get infected or is to serious. just watch out incase it happens again. if it does happen again i would say remove the shrimp from the tank....

Ok, thanks. By the way you can hardly notice the wound and my plec seems fine.
