I decided to test the water today due to the meds I've stuck in and wanted to show some new fish keepers what to look for under different light.
Most of these shots are either light turned on or off and flash on or off and some natural evening light.
By the way all the results are in good form and hope people can see what the variations of colours can be under different light situations.

...off topic
i remember testing someones water because they thought their fish had ammonia poisoning, i put the two liquids in and it went green, greener, dark green and kept getting dark til it was eventually black. i have never seen it do that before and god knows how his fish are alive.

TBF so many contributing factors can alter results dirty tubes unshaken bottles just a few to mention can alter results which is why I test three times a day and record every result so if I see any blips I ignore it unless a spike is cleared within 24hours I don't worry too much.
Wish they just come up with a machine that reads everything from one sample of water and provides a digital scale.

I've seen bad tanks before and stayed to help clean them up but sometimes the gravel and filters are so mature the hardy fish can cope if the spikes arent yo yoing so to speak which is why new tanks seem to loose more fish.
